Art Deco Figure by Marcel Bouraine - Nude with Gazelle - Real Bronze - sign.
The adjoining bronze object is assigned to the Art Deco movement and was designed by the French artist Marcel Bouraine. Pictured is a naked woman who is about to stroke a gazelle. The graceful figures ensemble is mounted on a black, two-step marble base and bears the signature of the artist.
The work of the artist Marcel Bouraine (1886-1948), who sometimes worked under the synonym Marcel-André Derenne, was characterized by the style of realism. Bouraine presented his works, among others, in the "Salon des Tuileries" and the "Salon dAutommn". He also made ​​numerous miniatures for various French films.
As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
