Fabergé Egg made of White Marble - Gilded with Gold Leaf - Peter Carl Fabergé

Faberge eggs have always been considered the epitome of the highest goldsmithing. They were created in the workshop of Peter Carl Fabergé in St. Petersburg. The adjoining egg simulates the famous Fabergé eggs. It is made of white marble and is encased in a bronze bracket gilded with gold leaf. The cover is removable.

Peter Carl Fabergé, also known as "Karl Gustavovich Fabergé" (30 May 1846 24 September 1920), was a Russian jeweller, best known for the famous Fabergé eggs, made in the style of genuine Easter eggs, but using precious metals and gemstones rather than more mundane materials.
