Field Marshal Erwin Rommel - Bronze Bust - sign. Lederer

Field Marshal Erwin Rommel was a German Field Marshal during the Third Reich. Erwin Rommel was one of Germany’s most respected military leaders in World War Two. Rommel played a part in two very significant battles during the war – at El Alamein in North Africa and at D-Day. Rommel’s nickname was the ‘Desert Fox’ – a title given to him by the British. The bust is provided with the guarantees given by the original signature of the sculptor Hugo Lederer.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections. The sculpture was manufactured as a smeltable wax model.
