"Oblivion" (the word means the state of being unaware or unconscious of what is happening around one) was designed by the French Art Deco artist Georges Duvernet in 1920. Art Deco is an eclectic style that combines traditional craft motifs with Machine Age imagery and materials. The style is often characterized by rich colors, bold geometric shapes, and lavish ornamentation.
